Hey there!I'm Austin Acevedo.

I'm a systems-thinking Designer with a love for motion design and applied behavioral science. In practice, this means I enjoy solving the complex problems across ecosystems, but also obsess over the details.

I currently lead Design for the Zoom App Marketplace and Developer platform. It's been a fun challenge defining the experience that enables anyone to build Zoom apps with AI. I also designed Zoom for ChatGPT, allowing people to take actions and query information from their Zoom account context in the AI chat thread.

At the beginning of my career, I did motion design and compositing for movie/AAA game trailers with Create Advertising Group. Motion has become my super power as a Designer. In addition to animating icons and interactions at work, I enjoy expressing these skills in my personal projects, such as NeoNote.

As of today's writing, AI is still changing the design process constantly. It's been so much fun uncovering all the ways it has allowed me to bring my designs to life, and shorten the cycle from problem identification to implementation. As for the actual design work, it's really accelerated the mundane so I can focus intently on craft.

My wife and kids are the center of my world. Beyond them and my passion for building things, learning, surfing, and physical fitness are all big parts of my life as well.
